Like Christina Aguilera we got Diirty today and all for the good of KRK.

So I hope all at the club join me in thanking the following people for their unbelievably hard work at the arvika clean-up  today – Ankie and Sven Cederborg, Matthias, linnea, Josefin, Arash, Johan H, Björn, Eamonn, O’Neill, Devitt, Henrik and Sebastian

That was the hardest earned kronors the club will get since I have been involved here, we were dealt a tough area ( a lot bigger than stated) by the organizers and, the festival crowd in our section decided to leave everything behind them, tents, clothes,  the works and any waste accumulated over 4 days, it looked like a Nigerian landfill on the day the scavengers were on strike

I have never seen such filth and I have been to a few festivals, we must have thrown away around €15,000 worth of tents and equipment, best of all me and Eamonn found a tent so scandalous that I was near gagging on approach, we were amused to find all the litter and waste all had eco friendly branding, I hope the irony wasn’t lost on the former occupants.

But my hats off to the work ethic of the members involved no one bitched or moaned and there were a lot of tired, muddy and stinking bunnies getting into the bus home at 20.30 tonight

An extra thank you to both Ankie and Arron for organizing this and Sven for making sure we had the tools for the job
